Peach Crunch

I got this recipe from my mother-in-law. It’s a Dunn family favorite!

2 quarts sliced peaces with out juice (you could also use fresh sliced and sugared peaches)
2 teaspoons tapioca
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter or salad oil
cinnamon

Grease a 9x13 baking dish or 2 8x8 baking dishes. Put peaches in dish and sprinkle with the tapioca. In a bowl combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add the eggs and stir with a fork until combined. Sprinkle mixture over peaches in the dish. Drizzle butter or oil over the top. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

  1. This is a dumb question, but where do you buy tapioca? Which section of the store is it in? I only ever get the pudding. :D

  2. Haha! Not dumb at all. I'm not sure because I have had mine for so long that I don't even remember what part of the store it was in. I'm pretty sure it is somewhere in the baking section though. I'll check next time I'm at the store.
